on saturday, i went to westminster mall with tony to go costume hunting,
unfortunately we weren't able to find anything
so we went to party city and man finding parking there a week before halloween.. sucks
but luckily he was able to find something =]
after going through party city, we had lunch at corner bakery
and then went to the bella terra to go seeeee high school musical 3!
and i must say, i thought it was an amazing movie, very inspiring, ugh!
and i want to see it again!
after that, we headed for LA
the night started a little shakey..
we were all at this grill place for dinner
and seriously right across the street,
there was a drive by.
one guy came in while we were waiting for our food and said that he thought it was just firecrackers
and then said that there was seriously a guy laying there in the street with a bullet in him.
my heart started beating and i was too afraid to go up the stairs to eat
i was scared being there period.
i couldn't even eat. the sound of the mother screaming, the sound of police cars coming .. it was all too much
and then the sound of the helicopter circling brought back memories of what happend in my neighborhood, in my backyard.
so whenever i was alone i took a moment to pray for the family.
a lot of us couldn't eat there so we took the food back to the house
then we got ready for the party =]
i don't really remember much
but it was fun hanging with tina, missy, and carol
but oh man, what i was feeling, ughh i really hated it.
but other than that, i had fun.
the next day, carol and i had lunch at this place called panera
the panini i had was reallyy good.
after eating we went back to the house
helped with andres' room
and later on tony and i went to lacma to watch this guy Abbey Simmon
really good piano player.
so that was fuuun. =]
then we all had dinner for andres' birthday at this grill place at the promenade
the promenade reminded me of the block but better.
i had an adobo quesidilla and it turned out to be really good
a little pricy but it was goood
then they all wanted pinkberry ahah
unfortunately i wasn't down for pinkberry =[
thats a first. ahahah
i was wayy too full
the next day we went to tonys moms work
we had a good chit chat with carol
and learned about pigeon racing!
very interesting
and then we went to go get some in n out
and we took it back to his moms work
after that we went to disneyland for a bit
and then went to his house for dinner =]
then tony came over to my house so i could burn him a copy of hsm3 music
and in the middle of downloading.. there was a black out =[
SO we went to the kitchen and tried like a billion cakes!
ahaha fun night =] fun weekend.
