I met some really talented people at the audition yesterday. It's amazing how friendly and open these people are. Why didn't I major in musical theatre? They go through a heck of a lot of auditions trying to get their foot in the door. I was glad I wasn't the only first timer. ohh man, I was really surprised to find out that they make you exercise and lift weights. There was this girl who was as skinny as me and when she flexed, holy shit. muscles popped out! One of the things I learned from them was that taking classes don't really do much for you, its the auditions that teach you everything.

More interesting news, they've been looking for an Aladdin and Jasmine for 7 years.
The people I've seen play these roles in the show seem perfect already.
It was also cool to see the people from the cast there.
buut man, the aladdin musical from 7 years ago is so different from todays.
They also put on the Snow White musical. I only got to watch parts of it. =[
